1. A mounting for a pipe cleaner around which mounting a twisted chenille wire piece (12) set with textile thread or fiber pieces can be wound, said mounting consisting of a cylindrical supporting body (11) with at least one spiral groove (17a; 17b) located in the surface area thereof and having at least one end a means (15a; 15b; 18) for securing the chenille wire piece against contortion, characterized in that the supporting body (11) has a portion (11a) with a larger diameter (D) and an adjoining portion (11b) with a smaller diameter (d), the means for securing against contortion is formed by a radial or axial bore (15a; 15b) for receiving one end of the chenille wire piece (12) and by a catch (18) disposed in the area of the end face of the supporting body, and that the surface areas of the supporting body (11) are provided with knurls or the like.

Pfeifenreiniger, bestehend aus einem mit Textilfaden- bzw. -faserstücken besetzten, verdrillten Chenilledrahtstück und einer dieses abstützenden Halterung, an welcher das Chenilledrahtstück befestigt ist, bei welchem die Halterung aus einem zylindrischen Stützkörper 11 besteht, in dessen Mantelfläche sich wenigstens eine schraubenlinienförmig verlaufende Nut 17a, 17b befindet, auf welchem von einem Ende her das Chenilledrahtstück 12 schraubenlinienförmig derart aufgewickelt ist, dass der Chenilledraht 12 teilweise in der Nut 17a, 17b liegt.
