[origin: ES273654U] A fuel injector for an internal combustion engine comprising a body traversed by an injection conduit and provided with a lateral fuel inlet located in the lower half of the body, the body containing an injector needle continued by a push-member provided with a head upon which bears a return spring urging the injection needle to the closed position and prestressed by means of an adjusting screw, the push-member being sufficiently short to allow the lateral fuel intake to be located above the upper end of the assembly constituted by the adjusting screw, the spring, the push-member and the needle.

La présente invention concerne un injecteur de combustible notamment pour un moteur à combustion interne. L'injecteur de combustible de l'invention est du type comprenant un corps (2) traversé par un conduit d'injection (15) et comprerant une entrée latérale de combustible (3) située dans la moitié inférieure du corps. Ce corps contient successivement, de bas en haut une aiguille injecteur (4) prolongée d'un poussoir (5) comprenant une tête (6) recevant l'appui d'un ressort de rappel de fermeture précontraint à l'aide d'une vis de réglage 8. Le poussoir 5 de l'invention est suffisamment court pour que l'arrivée latérale (3) de combustible soit située au-dessus de l'extrémité supérieure de l'ensemble vis de réglage (8) ressort (7) poussoir (5) et aiguille (4) précités. L'invention s'applique notamment dans l'industrie des moteurs à combustion interne.
