A polarized solid dielectric capacitor transducer comprises an edge held vibratile structure in the form of a flat plate carrying at least two electrodes, then plate being sufficiently thick for its centre plane to undergo no significant deformation during bending of the plate. The plate, or part of it, may be formed from vinylidene polyfluoride or from one of its copolymers and the transducer may be a microphone or hydrophone. <IMAGE>

L'invention se rapporte aux microphones à condensateur à diélectrique solide polarisé. La structure vibrante soumise à la pression acoustique comporte des électrodes (7, 8) recueillant les charges électriques induites sur les faces du diélectrique polarisé. Ces électrodes sont reliées à un circuit électrique adaptateur d'impédance (51). L'invention a pour objet un microphone dont la structure vibrante (1) est une plaque plane travaillant en flexion faible et attachée par son bord à un support (44, 45). L'invention s'applique notamment aux microphones à pression et à gradient de pression pour les applications téléphoniques.
