1. Bogie with orientable axles, which is mounted pivotably under the body of a rail vehicle and which possesses a bogie chassis (1) carried by axles (2) which are provided with axle-boxes (3) and which can be oriented by means of an articulated system actuated as a result of the relative rotation of the body, the said system comprising a first part connecting two of these boxes and a second part (5) connecting two other boxes, in such a way as to compel these boxes to pivot about vertical axes of symmetry (22) of the axles, characterised in that the chassis (1) bears on each axle box (3) by means of two elastic bearing elements (4, 8) which consist at least partially of elastomer and which are mounted above and below the box.

La présente invention se rapporte à un bogie à essieux orientables destiné à être monté sous la caisse d'un véhicule ferroviaire de type métro ou tramway. Ce bogie monté pivotant sous une caisse de véhicule ferroviaire comprend un châssis de bogie (1) porté par des essieux (2) pourvus de boites d'essieu (3) et pouvant être orientés par un système articulé manoeuvré par la rotation de la caisse, le châssis (1) s'appuyant sur chaque boite d'essieu par l'intermédiaire de deux éléments d'appui élastiques (4, 8) constitues au moins partiellement d'élastomère et montés au-dessus et au-dessous de la boite, un second système articulé (5) reliant deux boites d'essieu de maniere à leur imposer de pivoter autour des axes verticaux de symétrie des essieux.
