A device which, on the one hand, makes it possible to index the angular position of a component A in relation to two rotary components B and C and, on the other hand, allows an assembly formed by the component A connected in terms of rotation to the component B or to the component C to rotate relative to the remaining component. The three components A, B and C define between them an oblong receptacle (20) containing a ball, the centre of which remains outside the two end parts of the receptacle which are formed in the components B and C. The device according to the invention can be used on a double-rotor safety barrel intended for a closing appliance, such as a door lock or a safety latch. <IMAGE>

Dispositif qui, d'une part, permet d'indexer la position angulaire d'une pièce A par rapport à deux pièces rotatives B et C et qui, d'autre part, permet à un ensemble formé par la pièce A liée en rotation à la pièce B ou à la pièce C de tourner par rapport à la pièce restante. Les trois pièces A, B et C définissent entre elles un logement oblong (20) contenant une bille dont le centre demeure à l'extérieur des deux parties extrêmes du logement ménagées dans les pièces B et C. Le dispositif selon l'invention est utilisable sur un barillet de sûreté à double rotor destiné à un appareil de fermeture tel qu'une serrure de porte ou un verrou de sûreté.
