Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0072428A2] 1. Apparatus for the wet treatment of a textile material in rope form, which apparatus comprises a feed section (10), a discharge section (11) and, arranged between these, an intensive treatment section which can be supplied with treatment solution by way of ports and through which the rope can be passed, the free ends of the feed and discharge sections (10, 11) being arranged at a higher level than the intensive treatment section, characterized in that the intensive treatment section consists of a hose-like, inherently resilient section element (12) which, in the form of part of a circle, interconnects the feed section (10) and the discharge section (11), in that, at the inner face of the inherently resilient section element (12) in the form of part of a circle, there is arranged a rotary fulling device (3), the fulling elements (4) of which can be caused to act on the inherently resilient section element (12) while compressing the latter, and in that the free ends of the feed and discharge sections (10, 11) are arranged at a higher level than the rotary fulling device (3).
