[origin: EP0072915A2] 1. A process for the preparation of 2,4,6-triisocyanatotoluene by reacting 2,4,6-triaminotoluene hydrochloride with phosgene in the presence of an inert solvent, wherein odichlorobenzene or a monocarboxylic and/or dicarboxylic acid ester having a boiling point of from 165 to 250 degrees C is used as solvent.
