In the base profile (10), a drip moulding (13) extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile is integrally formed on a supporting leg (12) and, on the side remote from the drip moulding (13), there is located a fastening flange (11) which extends substantially at right angles to the bearing leg (12), enables connection of the base profile (10) to a building wall, and has fastening holes, at least some of which are designed as elongated holes (20, 21), which extend either in the longitudinal direction of the profile or transversely thereto and make it possible to align such a base profile (10) within the limits of these elongated holes (20, 21), after attachment to a building wall. <IMAGE>

Bei dem für den unteren Abschluß von an Bauwerkswanden anbringbaren Wärmedämmplatten bestimmten Sockelprofil (10) ist an einen Tragschenkel (12) eine in Profillängsrichtung verlaufende Traufkante (13) angeformt und auf der von der Traufkante (13) entfernten Seite befindet sich ein sich im wesentlichen rechtwinklig zu dem Tragschenkel (12) erstreckender, den Anschluß des Sockelprofils (10) an eine Bauwerkswand vermittelnder Befestigungsflansch (11) mit Befestigungslöchern, von denen wenigstens ein Teil als Langlöcher (20, 21) ausgebildet ist, die sich zum Teil in Profillängsrichtung und zum Teil quer dazu erstrecken und es ermöglichen, ein derartiges Sokkelprofil (10) nach dem Anbringen an einer Bauwerkswand im Rahmen der Länge dieser Langlöcher (20, 21) auszurichten.
