[origin: EP0073522A2] In a paint roller for the continuous application of dispersion solutions or the like on ceilings, walls etc. two rollers (4 and 5) are provided of which one (4) runs in the housing (1) and removes paint solution in a metered fashion from a paint reservoir (2) and thus wets the actual application roller (5). Housing (1) and housing lateral components (6) are connected detachably to one another via the roller free-floating axles (15, 16). The paint supply occurs here by means of a pipe (18) which leads out into a channel (22), with a longitudinal slot (22a) on the base (2a) side, situated parallel to the base (2a) of the paint reservoir (2). <IMAGE>
