The transport device (3) for stacks of packaging elements, such as cups, lids, etc., which are intended especially for receiving food and drink, has a transport container (5) of cuboid shape, in which the stacks of elements, packaged in film, are arranged. This transport device is intended to allow automatic filling of the transport container and automatic feed of the stacks of elements to a filling machine and, at the same time, to guarantee a high degree of sterility and freedom from dust of the packaging elements up to the filling operation. For this purpose, the stacks of elements are arranged in the transport container along a band of film (8) which surrounds each individual stack on all sides in an airtight manner. <IMAGE>

Transporteinrichtung (3) für Stangen von gestapelten Verpackungselementen, wie Becher, Deckel usw., die insbesondere für die Aufnahme von Nahrungs- und Genußmitteln vorgesehen sind, mit einem Transportbehälter (5) kubischer Form, in dem die Elementstangen folienverpackt angeordnet sind. Diese Transporteinrichtung soll eine automatische Befüllung der Transportbehälter und eine automatische Zufuhr der Elementstangen an eine Füllmaschine ermöglichen und gleichzeitig ein großes Maß an Sterilität und Staubfreiheit der Verpackungselemente bis hin zum Abfüllvorgang gewährleisten. Zu diesem Zweck sind die Elementstangen in dem Transportbehälter entlang eines Folienbandes (8) angeordnet, das dieselben jeweils einzeln allseitig luftdicht verschlossen umgibt.
