[origin: WO8203195A1] Clamping pliers of the "vice-pliers" type and comprising a main lever (1), a first fixed jaw (2) being integral therewith, a second jaw (3) being mounted oscillating on said main lever (1) and being connected to a second point of said main lever by a toggle device (5) forming both an auxiliary handling lever (8) and a blocking device for the two jaws in a clamping position. The pliers according to the invention are characterized by the fact that the ends of the jaws (2 and 3) are arranged so as to form notches (11) capable of having access to the interior of the part (14) such as a socket, washer, nut, but not exclusively, and to grip such part under the action of the spring (9) of the pliers, which tends to spread out the jaws (2 and 3).
