[origin: WO8203205A1] Marking method of a linear decimal ordered series, usable particularly for marking lines of a text in pages of a printed work. In this case, the method comprises the assortment of the edge (2) of the book (1) with marks arranged according to an original geometrical law which allows to quickly find one of those marks, and therefore to open the book at the desired page. The present invention also provides to complete such grid for marking pages with an index presented in an original form.

Procede de reperage d'une serie lineaire decimale ordonnee, utilisable notamment pour le reperage des lignes d'un texte au sein des pages d'un ouvrage imprime. Dans ce dernier cas, le procede consiste a assortir la tranche (2) du livre (1) de reperes disposes suivant une loi geometrique originale qui permet de retrouver rapidement l'un des reperes, et donc d'ouvrir le livre a la page desiree. La presente invention prevoit egalement de completer cette grille de reperage de pages par un index presente sous une forme originale.
