[origin: US4549519A] A method and an apparatus for overrunning control in an internal combustion engine are proposed, which operate with an overrunning cutoff and the reestablishment rpm of which is dependent on rpm and on time. At the onset of overrunning, a higher reestablishment rpm is selected, and once the rpm falls below a predetermined rpm value the reestablishment rpm is reduced according to a time function to a lower threshold value. The method may be realized by a controlled system, as well as by a control apparatus operating with analog circuitry.

Es wird ein Verfahren und eine Einrichtung zur Schubbetriebsteuerung bei einer Brennkraftmaschine vorgeschlagen, die mit Schubabschneidung arbeitet und deren Wiedereinsetzdrehzahl drehzahl- und zeitabhängig ist. Dabei wird zu Beginn des Schubbetriebes eine höhere Wiedereinsetzdrehzahl gewählt, die nach Unterscheiden eines bestimmten Drehzahlwertes nach einer Zeitfunktion bis auf einen unteren Grenzwert abgesenkt wird. Im Hinblick auf eine mögliche rechnergesteuerte Realisierung des Verfahrens ist ein Flußdiagramm angegeben sowie ein Beispiel einer Steuereinrichtung in analog arbeitender Schaltungstechnik.
