Abstract (en)
An electric switch has an essentially spherical or barrel-shaped switching element (30) with a central opening (31) into which a lamp (40), e.g. a light-emitting diode (LED), is inserted. The switching element (30) is elastically reversibly deformable and is electrically conductive. By means of mechanical pressure on an operating element (50), a pressure is transmitted to the switching element (30), which pressure leads to the switching element (30) widening perpendicular to the centre axis (53) of the opening (31), and by this means making contact with switch contact surfaces (11, 11'; 13, 13'), by which means these switch contact surfaces are electrically connected to one another. Additionally, a guide cylinder (20) can be inserted between the inner wall of the opening (31) and the lamp (40), which guide cylinder (20) is connected to a housing base (16). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Ein elektrischer Schalter besitzt ein im wesentlichen kugelförmiges bzw. tonnenförmiges Schaltelement (30) mit einer mittigen Öffnung (31), in die eine Lampe (40), z. B. eine lichtemittierende Diode (LED) eingesetzt ist. Das Schaltelement (30) ist elastisch reversibel verformbar und elektrisch leitfähig. Durch mechanischen Druck auf ein Betätigungselement (50) wird auf das Schaltelement (30) ein Druck übertragen, der dazu führt, daß sich das Shaltelement (30) senkrecht zur Mittelachse (53) der Öffnung (31) verbreitert und hierelurch Schaltkontaktflächen (11, 11'; 13, 13') berührt, wodurch diese Schaltkontaktflächen elektrisch miteinander verbunden werden. Zusätzlich kann zwischen die Innenwandung der Öffnung (31) und die Lampe (40) ein Führungszylinder (20) eingefügt sein, der mit einem Gehäuseboden (16) verbunden ist.
