Abstract (en)
The object of the application is a method for wrapping and strapping bales of fibrous material in a baling press. The invention essentially consists in that the bale is pressed together with the packaging material or in that the packaging material is transported, after the baling box has been packed, firstly to its two box openings, in that a gripping device situated on the press plates (5, 6) seizes the packing material, in that the press plates, together with the packaging material lying on their front, press against the bale, and in that the two press plates synchronously with the bale are taken out of the baling box on one side, which is followed by the gripping device laying the packaging material over the entire periphery of the bale. Thereafter, the bale is strapped in the longitudinal and transverse directions and finally released from the press plates. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Gegenstand der Anmeldung ist ein Verfahren zum Umhüllen und Umreifen von Faserballen in einer Faserballenpresse. Der Kern der Erfindung besteht darin, daß der Faserballen zusammen mit dem Verpackungsmaterial gepreßt wird bzw. daß das Verpackungsmaterial nach dem Füllen des Preßkastens zunächst vor dessen beide Preßkastenöffnungen transportiert wird, daß daraufhin eine an den Preßplatten (5, 6) befindliche Greifeinrichtung das Verpackungsmaterial erfaßt, daß die Preßplatten mit dem stirnseitig anliegenden Verpackungsmaterial den Faserballen pressen und daß daraufhin die beiden Preßplatten synchron mit dem Faserballen auf einer Seite aus dem Preßkasten ausfahren und sodann die Greifeinrichtung das Verpackungsmaterial über den gesamten Umfang des Faserballens legt. Daraufhin wird der Faserballen in Längs- und Querrichtung umreift und schließlich von den Preßplatten freigegeben.
