[origin: WO8203377A1] A rotary power hand tool (R) with a rotary chuck (T) is mated to a push-in piston-type dispensing container of caulking (A) via an adapter (10) which mounts on the tool and is secured to the chuck. The adapter has a plunger (102) provided on the end of a non-rotating screw (100). When the tool trigger (S) is actuated, a transmission (18) on the actuator is operated to advance the screw and plunger thus advancing the piston on the dispensing container. In the preferred embodiment a peg (112) secured to the drive screw and protruding out of the adapter doubles as a way of preventing the drive screw from rotating and as a way to indicate the relative amount of contents remaining to be dispensed until the container is effectively empty.

Un outil rotatif a main entraine par une force motrice (R) avec un mandrin rotatif (P) est couple a un conteneur de distribution du type a piston de poussee (A) par l'intermediaire d'un adaptateur (10) qui se monte sur l'outil et est fixe au mandrin. L'adaptateur possede un plongeur (102) monte sur l'extremite d'une vis non rotative (100). Lorsque la gachette (S) de l'outil est actionnee, une transmission (18) sur l'actionneur est sollicitee pour faire avancer la vis et le plongeur, faisant ainsi avancer le piston sur le conteneur de distribution. Dans le mode preferentiel de realisation, une goupille (112) fixee sur la vis d'entrainement et se projetant hors de l'adaptateur possede une double fonction empechant la vis d'entrainement de tourner et indiquant la quantite relative de contenu restant a distribuer jusqu'a ce que le conteneur soit effectivement vide.
