Abstract (en)
A mortar (1, 13) is mounted on a vehicle, being arranged on a rotating platform (2), the movement of which is directed by a circular support (3) fixed to the vehicle. The circular support (3) is equipped with a toothed ring (7) and means (5, 6) ensuring the fixture of the rotating platform at the moment when the shot is fired. The circular support (3) and the platform (2) have peripheral wedges or keys (8, 9) so that they can be coupled together. Members (11, 12. 14-18) are provided for adjusting the firing elevation angle and for retracting the mortar (1, 13) into the transport position. <IMAGE>

Un mortier (1, 13) est monté sur un véhicule étant disposé sur une plate-forme giratoire (2) dont le mouvement est dirigé par un support circulaire (3) solidaire du véhicule. Le support circulaire (3) est muni d'une couronne dentée (7) et des moyens (5, 6) assurant la fixation de la plate-forme giratoire au moment où a lieu le tir. Le support circulaire (3) et la plate-forme (2) comprennent des cales ou clavettes (8, 9) périphériques afin de permettre leur accouplement. Des organes (11, 12, 14-18) sont prévus pour régler l'angle d'élévation de tir et pour replier le mortier (1, 13) en position de transport.
