[origin: EP0076772A2] The invention relates to the combination of a centrifuge container or bottle and its closing stopper. The stopper is an internally threaded cap (21) carrying an annular groove (25) receiving a ring seal (30). One side of the ring seal abuts on an annular surface directed towards the top of the neck of the bottle when the cap is screwed onto the bottle. The inside of the cap also comprises an integral component which extends into the neck of the bottle for a short distance when the cap has been placed in position. <IMAGE>
