A closure cap (1) made of plastics material has a circular sealing lip (5) which is arranged in the region of the joint (6) between the cap wall (3) and the cap bottom (4) and points obliquely inwards. At its smallest diameter, the sealing lip (5) has a rounded sealing portion (7). Below the sealing portion (7), the sealing lip (5) is widened outwards in the manner of a funnel to receive a container opening (2). A reliable seal is effected by this arrangement even in the case of large tolerance variations on the outside wall (8) of the container opening (2). The sealing zone encircling the container opening (2) extends in any case in a linear fashion, which considerably increases the sealing effect of the sealing lip (5). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Verschlusskappe (1) aus Kunststoffmaterial hat eine kreisförmige Dichtlippe (5), welche im Bereich der Verbindung (6) zwischen Kappenwandung (3) und Kappenboden (4) angeordnet ist und schräg nach innen weist. An ihrem kleinsten Durchmesser hat die Dichtlippe (5) eine abgerundete Dichtpartie (7). Unterhalb der Dichtpartie (7) ist die Dichtlippe (5) zur Aufnahme einer Behältermundung (2) trichterartig nach aussen erweitert. Durch diese Anordnung wird auch bei grossen Toleranzschwankungen an der Aussenwand (8) der Behältermundung (2) eine zuverlässige Abdichtung bewirkt. Die kreisförmig um die Behältermündung (2) laufende Dichtzone verläuft in jedem Fall linienförmig, was die Dichtwirkung der Dichtlippe (5) beträchtlich erhöht.
