Die Exzentrizität einer Flügelzellenpumpe (1) und der Pumpendruck werden elektrisch abgetastet (40, 55) und zu einem Leistungssignal (81) verarbeitet (60), welches mit einem zulässigen Leistungswert (74) verglichen wird. Es können auch noch der maximal zulässige Förderstrom (86) und Pumpendruck (88) berücksichtigt werden.
