[origin: EP0076900A2] In a cooling apparatus, a deep freeze evaporator (4) is arranged in an active cooling compartment (3) and a normal refrigerating compartment evaporator (6) is arranged in a normal refrigerating compartment (5). The evaporators (4, 6) are connected, via connecting lines, in series and in the refrigerant circuit of a refrigerating machine. In order to prevent icing of the connecting lines (7), if the danger of their icing occurs, a heat conducting device with a heat coupling device is provided with the connecting lines (7), the heat throughput of which is adjustable. A contact surface (9), which can be brought into contact with a heat conducting element (10, 11) which is separate therefrom, is connected to the connecting lines (7). <IMAGE>
