[origin: WO8203765A1] The prothesis is intended to the partial or total reconstruction of the rear part of the auditory meatus. It has a shape of an unclosed cylindrical sleeve (1) of which at least the end surfaces (9 and 10) are differently spread out to form a hyperboloid having an appropriate elliptic section. The constitutive material is preferably a bioactive material. The inner wall (11) of the prothesis forms a positive or negative coordinate (spatial) network (6, 7). Specific portions of upper surfaces (11, 12; 4) may be provided with a biologically inert and insoluble protection layer. This layer may be an additive protection layer or a subtractive protection layer. For both alternatives, appropriate coating processes and substances are used. In the case of subtractive layers, these may further receive a subsequent sealing treatment and/or silanisation treatment.

La prothese est destinee a la reconstruction partielle ou totale de la partie posterieure du conduit auditif. Elle presente la forme d'une manchette cylindrique non fermee (1) dont au moins les surfaces d'extremite (9) et (10) sont differemment ecartees pour former un hyperboloide de section avantageusement elliptique. La matiere constitutive est de preference un materiau bioactif. La paroi interieure (11) de la prothese forme un reseau (spatial) de coordonnees (6, 7) positif ou negatif. Des parties determinees de surfaces superieures (11, 12; 4) peuvent etre prevues avec une couche de protection insoluble et biologiquement inerte. Il peut s'agir d'une couche de protection additive ou d'une couche de protection soustractive. Pour les deux variantes, on utilise des procedes et des substances de revetement appropries. Dans le cas de la production de couches soustractives, celles-ci recoivent en plus un traitement subsequent de scellement et/ou de silanisation.
