Method for mixing flue gas flows of different temperatures and compositions in a chimney, characterized by the fact that a first flue gas flow is introduced centrally into the chimney and that one or more other flue gas flows are introduced with a flow sense along a tangent or secant at right angles with the flow sense.

Zum Vermischen von Rauchgasströmen unterschiedlicher Temperatur und Zusammensetzung unmittelbar in einem Schornstein wird einer der Rauchgasströme, vorzugsweise der kältere, zentral eingeblasen. Ein weiterer, vorzugsweise der wärmere, Rauchgasstrom wird in den Schornstein mit einer Strömungsrichtung eingeführt, die entlang einer Tangente oder Sekante zur Strömungsrichtung des ersten Rauchgasstromes verläuft.
