Completely pneumatic apparatus generating timed gas pulses and supplied by a source (14) of gas under specific pressure, of the type comprising a reducing valve (6) supplied with gas from the gas source (14), preset to a suitable value and delivering a flow of gas through a leakage conduit capable of being closed by an operable regulating element, characterized in that it comprises : an amplifier relay (7), supplied with gas from the gas source (14) and controlled by the pressure of gas issuing from the reducing valve (6) in the leakage conduit (16) ; an adjustable-duration timer (3) controlled by the amplifier relay (7) ; and a three-way cell (8) controlled by the timer (3) and supplied with gas from the gas source (14) and capable of delivering gas pulses the duration of which is determined by the timer (3).
