Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0077890A2] 1. Electric chain tackle block, of which the reduction gearing (3) lying between the drive-output pinion (9) of the electric motor (5) and the chain wheel (4) with axis parallel thereto, and containing an overload slipping clutch, is arranged in a gear box (1) which is connected with the externally flanged-on electric motor into a construction unit comprising a suspension or securing device (2), in which the chain wheel is arranged in the immediate vicinity of the motor flange (7) on one side of the drive-output pinion, while the overload slipping clutch comprises a driven toothed wheel (10) mounted rotatably on a gear shaft (13) of the reduction gearing, which toothed wheel is coupled in frictional engagement with the gear shaft through coupling elements (coupling discs 14, 17) connected fast in rotation with the gear shaft which is axially displaceable by means of a setting element (24) for readjustement from the exterior in relation to a stop (rolling bearing 15) fast with the housing, characterized in that the coupling elements consist of axially displaceable coupling discs (14, 17) arranged on both sides of the toothed wheel (10) which possess a friction lining (16) on their side facing the toothed wheel, in that the toothed wheel is axially braced through the coupling discs with the gear shaft (13) by at least one spring element (19) likewise arranged on the gear shaft, in that the supporting of the gear shaft in the initial stressing direction takes place through a bearing (21) of the gear shaft and a thrust plate (23) against a set screw (24) serving as setting element and in that the toothed wheel is allocated to a first gear stage of the reduction gearing (3).
