[origin: EP0077928A2] For connecting and positioning the adjustment elements in electrical appliances, in particular cooking ranges, a base plate is provided, which is adapted in its dimensions to the respective electrical appliance. The base plate is designed as a circuit board (11) and has notches (34) for the positioning of housings (13) for receiving the mechanical parts of the control devices. The housings (13) consist of two half-shells (16, 17) which can be snapped into one another and which engage with webs (24) in the notches (34) of the circuit board (11). The webs (24) become resilient tongues (25) which represent a part of the snap connection. For reinforcement and electrical connection if applicable, a metal profile (14) connected to all housings (13) is provided. <IMAGE>
