Path slab for bordering sports grounds or the like, which is intended for collecting materials which are, in particular, carried out of the sports ground by athletes, characterised by a square slab (11) made of rigid material, with at least one channel-like depression (16, 17) arranged parallel to a slab edge (13, 14) furthermore by profile elements (20, 21) fastened to the edge regions (18, 19) of the slab (11) outside the depression (16, 17), and by at least one perforated mat (12) which covers the surface of the slab (11) and which is retained on the slab (11) by means of the profile elements (20, 21).
