[origin: US4445323A] An apparatus for the conjoint gripping of bobbins by means of pins or spigots formed of a rigid material, mounted at a support or carrier, and insertable into the bobbins. An expansible hose or tube member extends lengthwise of the support, this hose member when subjected to an increased internal pressure serving to press the bobbins against the pins or pin members inserted therein. This known apparatus has the advantage that there does not occur damage to the entering pin members, nor does there arise permanent deformation or destruction thereof. Yet, such apparatus possesses the shortcomings that the seized bobbins, when pressed against the pin members, are not positioned with sufficient accuracy in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the support. The invention avoids such drawback in that, there are provided two straight edges at each pin member at the side thereof confronting the hose member, such too straight edges extending in the longitudinal direction of the related pin member and serving as contact surfaces for the bobbin pressed thereagainst.

Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum gemeinsamen Erfassen von Hülsen (16) mittels an einem Träger (11) angebrachter, aus festem Material bestehender, in die Hülsen (16) eintauchbarer Zapfen (13) und eines sich längs des Trägers (11) erstreckenden Schlauches (14), welcher dazu dient, bei erhöhtem Innendruck die Hülsen (16) an die in diese eingetauchten Zapfen (13) anzupressen. Diese bekannte Vorrichtung hat die Vorteile, daß Beschädigungen an eintauchenden Greifern (13) bleibende Deformierungen oder gar Zerstörungen derselben nicht vorkommen. Die erwähnte Vorrichtung besitzt aber den Nachteil, daß die erfaßten Hülsen (16) in der Richtung parallel zur Längsrichtung des Trägers (11) im an die Zapfen (13) angepreßten Zustand nicht mit genügender Genauigkeit positioniert sind. Dieser Nachteil wird nun erfindungsgemäß dadurch vermieden, dass an jedem Zapfen (13) auf seiner dem Schlauch (14) zugewandten Seite zwei in der Längsrichtung des Zapfens verlaufende, geradlinige Kanten (17, 18) vorhanden sind, welche für die angepreßte Hülse (16) als Auflage dienen.
