Anti-slip device which is made of resilient material and can be mounted on, and easily removed from, a shoe, said device comprising a cover, which encloses the front portion of the shoe, and a loop, which is looped round the heel cap so as to be integrally connected to said cover, as well as anti-slip members which are provided on the tread surface, wherein the cover and the loop are walls of a tubular member, and two upwardly extending straps are provided at the front end of the cover, the free ends of said straps being secured in the upper portion of the cover, characterised in that the free ends of the two straps (4, 5) are combined to form one piece and are held together through the intermediary of a securing member.
