The container is approximately rectangular in the plan view and is used especially for transporting food and keeping it warm. The container has a peripheral attachment-carrying flange and at least one drop handle which is approximately U-shaped and has a carrying limb and two holding arms which are attached in the region of the attachment-carrying flange. In order to be able to swivel the drop handle up easily, which drop handle rests on the attachment carrying flange in the position of rest, the central region of its carrying limb is bent in such a way that it projects over the carrying flange, specifically either with formation of a gap with the apex of the carrying flange or by projecting over one edge which is formed by the downwardly curved edge region of the carrying flange. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft einen in der Draufsicht ungefähr rechteckigen Behälter, insbesondere zum Transportieren und Warmhalten von Speisen, der einen umlaufenden Aufsetz-Tragflansch und mindestens einen Fallgriff besitzt, welcher ungefähr U-förmig ausgebildet ist und einen Tragschenkel sowie zwei im Bereich des Aufsetz-Tragflanschs angelenkte Haltearme aufweist. Um den in der Nichtgebrauchsstellung auf dem Aufsetz-Tragflansch aufliegenden Fallgriff leicht hochschwenken zu können, ist der mittlere Bereich seines Tragschenkels derart abgekröpft, dass er über den Tragflansch übersteht, und zwar entweder unter Bildung eines Spaltes mit dem Scheitel des Tragflanschs oder durch Überstehen über eine kante, die durch den nach unten abgebogenen Randbereich des Tragflanschs gebildet wird.
