Hinged lid for the housings of electrical equipment, especially switches and sockets, having a housing cover (1) which has mounting blocks (3) having laterally projecting, integrally formed pivot pins (4, 5) for pivotably mounting the hinged lid (2) by means of mounting portions (6, 7) moulded in the latter, with a torsion spring (10) for closing the hinged lid (2) being arranged in at least one mounting portion in such a way that it is supported by one of its spring legs (13) against the housing cover (1), characterised in that the mounting portions (6, 7) of the hinged lid (2) can be locked onto the pivot pins (4, 5) at right angles to their axial direction by means of a laterally open slot (8, 9), and that the spring leg (13), supported against the housing cover (1), of the torsion spring (10) is bent radially inwards and is located in a transverse slot (14) of the pivot pin (5).
