Abstract (en)

1. Insulating system for the openings (2) in the facade of a building having exterior insulation (5) of the facade walls (1), and consisting, for each opening, of a shutter (9) made of a panel of insulating material, which is integrated into the exterior insulation, so as to allow the opening which is to be insulated to be sealed off when required, said shutter being mobile in a vertical plane parallel to the plane of the opening, characterised in that it consists, for each opening (2), of a housing in two parts (8, 8a) incorporated into the exterior insulation (5), one of said parts (8) being located to one side of the opening, while the other part (8a) is located to the opposite side of said opening, and also in that the dimensions of the shutter are slightly greater than those of the opening, so that in the open position said shutter is entirely contained within one of said parts (8) of the housing, and in the closed position said shutter is partially contained in both parts (8, 8a) of the housing.
