To increase the efficiency of sheet printing machines, the printed sheet leaving the sheet printing machine is passed through, in direct connection with the printing machine, between folding cylinders (2-5) having interacting folding knives (7, 9, 11), which can be displaced over the cylinder circumference, and folding flaps (8, 10, 12), and in this arrangement the printed sheet is transversely folded one or more times, whereupon the transversely folded printed sheet is cut transversely with respect to its running direction at its rear transverse edge and then divided by longitudinal blades into individual, adjacent printing products, which are then stacked. <IMAGE>

Zur Erhöhung der Wirtschaftlichkeit von Bogendruckmaschinen wird der die Bogendruckmaschine verlassende Druckbogen im unmittelbaren Anschluß an die Druckmaschine zwischen Falzzylindern (2 - 5) mit zusammenwirkenden, über den Zylinderumfang verstellbaren Falzmessern (7, 9, 11) und Falzklappen (8, 10, 12) hindurchgeführt und dabei ein oder mehrmals quergefalzt, worauf der quergefalzte Druckbogen quer zu seiner Laufrichtung an seinem hinteren Querrand geschnitten und sodann durch Längsschneiden in einzelne nebeneinanderliegende Druckprodukte unterteilt wird, die anschließend gestapelt werden.
