Abstract (en)

[origin: WO8204080A1] The assembly is comprised of a needle (1) and a thread (4). The two strands (6, 7) of the thread (4) traverse the eye (2) and form a loop about the two strands (6, 7) by surrounding tightly the bridge (12) of the needle. Hence, the loop (5) does not extend beyond the projection of the section of the needle (1). A conventional needle (1) is used allowing a less expensive manufacture of the assembly.
