1. A bottle closure, especially for champagne bottles, in which the closure body (1) made in one piece from plastics has a sealing shank (3) which enters the neck of the bottle like a stopper and extends from the centre of the inner face (2) of the end of a cap, the wall (9) of the shell of which is equipped on the inner face (9') of it with a thread (8) which engages with the external thread (10) on the neck (5) of the bottle, this sealing shank (3) protruding over the region carrying the thread (8) and having at least one annular sealing rib (7) lying in a transverse plane (E-E) and protruding above its peripheral area (3'), characterized in that the sealing rib (7) lies at the height of the last turn (8') of the thread (8) which is formed with a number of turns, or beyond it on the protruding section (A).

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Flaschenverschluß, insbesondere für Sektflaschen, bei welchem der einstückig aus Kunststoff gebildete Verschlußkörper (1) einen stopfenartig in den Flaschenhals (5) eintretenden Abdichtungsschaft (3) besitzt, der zentrisch von der Bodeninnenfläche (2) einer Kappe ausgeht, deren Mantelwand (9) auf ihrer Innenfläche (9') mit Vorsprüngen (V) ausgestattet ist, die in Eingriff stehen zum Außengewinde (10) des Flaschenhalses (5), und schlägt zur Erzielung einer zuordnungsgünstigen, den erforderlichen Dichtschluß bringenden Bauform, die auch den vom Konsumenten gewünschten "Plopp"-Effekt bringt, vor, daß der Abdichtungsschaft (3) über den als mehrgängiges Gewinde (4) ausgebildeten Vorsprung (V) vorsteht und dort mindestens eine über seine Umfangsfläche (3') vorstehende, in einer Querebene (E-E) liegende ringförmige Abdichtungsrippe (7) besitzt, die auf Höhe des letzten Gewindeganges (8') oder jenseits desselben auf dem vorstehenden Abschnitt (A) liegt.
