1. Regulating apparatus for the charging air of internal combustion engines, comprising an intake a mass throughput meter (5), an exhaust gas sensor (6) and a regulator which, with the signals of the mass throughput meter (5) and of the exhaust gas sensor (6), variably regulates the fuel throughput in accordance with the working conditions in each case, characterised in that the exhaust gas sensor is an exhaust gas mass throughput meter and the fuel mass is determined, by means of an electronic regulator, from the difference of the intake air throughput and the exhaust gas mass throughput.

Eine Regeleinrichtung für die Luftzahl von Brennkraftmaschinen mit einem Ansaugluft-Durchsatzmesser und erfindungsgemäß einem Abgas-Durchsatzmesser statt der üblicherweise verwendeten λ-Sonde ermöglicht den Kraftstoffdurchsatz unabhängig von Zusätzen des Kraftstoffs (zum BeispielBlei) auf beliebige Werte größer oder kleiner 1 zu regeln. Verbesserungen der Einrichtung lassen sich durch geeignete Wahl der Zeitbasen für die beiden Durchsatzmesser und oder eine Phasenverschiebung ihrer Ausgangssignalge erzielen.
