Abstract (en)
The frame is distinguished by two safety precautions which protect the user from injuries of the mechanical or electrical type. In the case of jamming, e.g. the hand in the head part (2) of the frame, a dual-lever system (5) compensates the movement of the drive spindle of the electric drive (13). The force of the drive spindle on the lever system of the head part is destroyed by the dual-lever system, in such an event. The motors of the electric drives (13, 14) for the adjustable foot and head parts (2 and 3) are driven with low voltage, preferably at 48 VAC. The electric drives have ballscrews with free running on both sides, which means that no limit switches are required for the corresponding sitting and lying positions. By these constructional measures, a frame is provided with gives a high degree of safety for the user and is particularly suitable for installation in beds for old people and invalids. <IMAGE>

Der Einlegerahmen für ein Sitz- und Liegemöbel zeichnet sich durch zwei Schutzvorkehrungen aus, welche den Benützer vor Schaden mechanischer wie elektrischer Art bewahren. Beim allfälligen Einklemmen, z. B. einer Hand im Kopfteil (2) des Einlegerahmens, gleicht ein Doppelhebel-System (5) die Bewegung der Antriebsspindel des Elektroantriebes (13) aus. Die Kraft der Antriebsspindel auf das Hebelsystem des Kopfteils wird bei einem solchen Zwischenfall durch das Doppelhebelsystem vernichtet. Die Motoren der Elektroantriebe (13, 14) für den verstellbaren Fuß- bzw. Kopfteil (2 bzw. 3) werden mit Niederspannung, vorzugsweise mit 48 VAC, betrieben. Die Elektroantriebe besitzen Kugelumlaufspindeln mit beidseitigem Freilauf, wodurch keine Endschalter für die entsprechenden Sitz- und Liegepositionen benötigt werden. Durch diese konstruktiven Maßnahmen wird ein Einlegerahmen geschaffen, der ein hohes Maß an Sicherheit für den Benützer bietet und sich insbesondere zum Einbau in Alters- und Invalidenbetten eignet.
