[origin: EP0080040A2] In the rotary drum envisaged according to the invention, an internally geared track ring (2) is supported via bearing plates (3) on the drum shell (1) and clamped free of play in the circumferential direction by wedges (4, 5). In a constructionally simple and yet extremely reliable manner, the bearing plates (3) are at the same time fastened to the track ring (2), while the wedges (4, 5) rest on abutments (6) which are fastened to the drum shell (1). <IMAGE>
