A bass reflex box (1) has an active low-range speaker system (3) and an air-coupled corresponding passive system (8) which is loaded with a resistance (9) connected to its voice coil. When the ohmic value of the resistance (9) is selected to be between the voice coil impedance Zo and 4Zo, that is to say four times the amount, an advantageous expansion and improvement is obtained in the lower range of the bass radiation. To adjust a desired attenuation in this range, the resistance (9) can be constructed to be variable. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Baßreflexbox (1) besitzt ein aktives Tieftonsystem (3) und ein luftgekoppeltes, entsprechendes Passivsystem (8), das mit einem an seine Schwingspule angeschlossenen Widerstand (9) belastet ist. Wenn der Ohm-Wert des Widerstandes (9) zwischen der Schwingspulenimpedanz Z0 und 4Z0, also dem vierfachen Betrag, gewählt wird, ergibt sich eine vorteilhafte Erweiterung und Verbesserung des unteren Bereiches der Baßabstrahlung. Zur Einstellung einer gewünschten Dämpfung in diesem Bereich kann der Widerstand (9) variabel ausgeführt sein.
