La structure superieure comprenant le corps (1) et son chargement (6, 7, 27) ont une flottabilite positive meme lorsque le chargement atteint sa masse maximale prevue. Les moyens de liaison (12) sont une attache unique ou plusieurs attaches paralleles. Compte tenu des efforts lateraux previsibles (L) et de la profondeur de l'eau (h) sur le site, le corps (1) est dimensionne de facon que la poussee ascendante (P) soit suffisante pour que la derive laterale (d) n'excede pas une valeur consideree comme la valeur maximale admissible.
