1. Securing device, particularly intended for alpinists, comprising two parts (1, 2; 36, 37) connected by means of a hinge (3, 38), angularly displaceable the one with respect to the other ; characterized by the fact that each of said two parts (1, 2; 36, 37) comprises at least two cuttings (4, 4'; 5, 5'; 6, 6'; 39, 39', 40, 40') the shape and position of which are such that when the two parts are in aligned service position, these cuttings define two closed rope passages whereas when the two parts are angularly displaced the one with respect to the other each rope passage has an aperture (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12; 41, 41', 42, 42').

Ce dispositif d'assurage comporte deux pièces (36, 37), reliées par une articulation (38), déplaçables angulairement l'une par rapport à l'autre. Chacune des deux pièces comporte deux découpes (39, 40) agencées de telle sorte que lorsque ces pièces sont en position de service alignées, ces découpes définissent deux passages de corde fermés tandis que lorsque les pièces sont décalées angulairement l'une par rapport à l'autre chaque passage de corde présente une ouverture. Ce dispositif est utilisé comme stop-chute par les alpinistes.
