[origin: US4474160A] A fuel injection system for internal combustion engines comprises a distributing conduit made up of two shaped parts i.e., a top section 4 and bottom section, joined together in a longitudinal plane by flanges. Several injection valves are connected to the distributing conduit by pairs of coupling bushings and coupling nipples. The flanges are integrally formed with both shaped parts of the distributing conduit at right angles to the axes of symmetry of the injection valves, and the coupling bushings are integrally formed with one of the two shaped parts in the direction of these axes of symmetry.

Eine Kraftstoff-Einspritzanlage für Brennkraftmaschinen enthält eine Verteilerleitung (1) aus zwei in einer Längsebene mittels Flanschen (6, 9) miteinander verbundenen Formteilen (Oberteil 4, Unterteil 5). An die Verteilerleitung (1) sind mittels Paaren von Anschlußbuchsen (10) und -stutzen (11) mehrere Einspritzventile (3) angeschlossen. Die Flansche (6, 9) sind beiden Formteilen (Oberteil 4, Unterteil 5) der Verteilerleitung (1) quer zu den Mittelachsen der Einspritzventile (3) und die Anschlußbuchsen (10) sind einem der beiden Formteile (Unterteil 5) in Richtung dieser Mittelachsen angeformt.
