[origin: US4465363A] Disclosed is a cleaning device, having a cleaning roller and a scraper, which are capable of being brought into and out of contact with the photoconductive peripheral surface of a drum of a copier. The scraper further comprises a strip which is of a geometry such that in combination with the operation of the roller and scraper it allows for complete and efficient removal of the cleaning liquid from the drum surface without overflow and damage to the copier sub-assembly.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Reinigungsvorrichtung (10) mit einer Reinigungswalze (2) und einem Abstreifer (3), die in und außer Kontakt mit der fotoleitfähigen Umfangsfläche einer Trommel (6) eines Kopiergeräts bringbar sind. Reinigungsflüssigkeit (9) wird bei angeschwenkter Reinigungswalze (2) und anliegendem Abstreifer (3) zwischen diesen und einem Spritzschutz (5) aufgestaut. Der Abstreifer (3) und der Spritzschutz (5) sind an einem verschwenkbaren Profilrohr (8) befestigt. Über eine Leiste (1) mit dachförmigem Profil, das von der Mitte zu den Enden der Leiste abfällt, fließt Reinigungsflüssigkeit ab.
