Lamp holder (1) for motor vehicles, comprising a base plate (2) on which is fixed at least one lamp mounting (4) having a first mounting element (8) provided with a bore (16) through which the lamp (9) is passed, and a second mounting element (5) with a conductor foil (3) extending on one side of the base plate (2) and provided in the region of the lamp mounting seat with a contact lug (14) adapted to be bent out of the face of the contact foil, the contact lug being pushed through a cut-out (13) in the base plate and fixed on the lamp mounting, forming an earth contact point (23) and a plus contact point (22), characterised in that those zones of the lamp mounting (4) on which the conductor foil (3) rests in order to form the contact points (22, 23) are of resilient construction.
