[origin: EP0080762A2] A connector-reducer unit for open rim water closet pans, which comprises an outer hollow cylindrical member or connector (1), and an inner hollow cylindrical member or reducer (2) which can either be inserted in a sealed manner or not inserted into the connector (1) as required, said members being provided with inner and outer flexible seal ribs (6, 8), (17, 15); the connector (4) comprises a front profiled head (9, 10) with discharge apertures (11, 12) arranged to divide the wash water stream into partial streams directed towards respective zones of the open rim of a water closet pan.
