Abstract (en)
In a CO2 firearm, the connection for the CO2 capsule is connected directly to the barrel, and the non-return valve of the CO2 capsule is used directly as a valve for proportioning the gas quantity to be introduced into the barrel for firing. The striker of the firearm therefore acts directly on this valve, if appropriate via a tappet. A CO2 capsule designed for use in such a firearm has as a non- return valve a disc valve which is brought into the closing position and held therein solely by the gas pressure. An adaptor for connecting such a capsule to a supply bottle can contain a sealing body which essentially fills the connection piece of the supply bottle in order to keep the dead space between the valve of the supply bottle and the non-return valve of the CO2 capsule as small as possible. The striker acting directly on the non-return valve of the CO2 capsule can be arranged such that, before striking against the tappet for opening the non-return valve, it is released by the striker spring which previously comes to bear against a stop fixed to the housing. A detent member, preferably in the form of a slide, can then also be arranged in the path of the striker and catches the striker before it comes up against the tappet, in order to allow training as near to actual conditions as possible. Finally, such a CO2 firearm can be equipped with a vertically adjustable sight, in which a pivotably mounted sight carrier is supported on a wedge piece which is transversely adjustable by means of a setscrew and which is itself supported by means of an oblique surface on the obliquely cut-off end of the leg of a leaf spring which is bent in the form of a U and the other leg of which acts on the sight carrier and presses the sight carrier via the wedge piece against the supporting part formed by the leg of the leaf spring. <IMAGE>

Bei einer CO2-Waffe steht der Anschluß für die CO2-Kapsel unmittelbar mit dem Lauf in Verbindung und es wird das Rückschlagventil der CO2-Kapsel unmittelbar als Ventil zum Dosieren der beim Schießen in den Lauf einzuführenden Gasmenge benutzt. Demgemäß wirkt das Schlagstück der Waffe, ggf. über einen Stößel, unmittelbar auf dieses Ventil. Ein für die Verwendung in einer solchen Waffe ausgebildete CO2-Kapsel weist als Rückschlagventil ein Tellerventil auf, der ausschließlich vom Gasdruck in die Schließstellung gebracht und darin gehalten wird. Ein Adapter zum Anschluß einer solchen Kagsel an eine Vorratsflasche kann einen Dichtungskörper enthalten, der den Anschlußstutzen der Vorratsflasche im wesentlichen ausfüllt, um den toten Raum zwischen dem Ventil der Vorratsflasche und dem Rückschlagventil der CO2-Kapsel möglichst klein zu halten. Das unmittelbar auf das Rückschlagventil der CO2-Kapsel wirkende Schlagstuck kann so angeordnet sein, daß es vor dem Auftreffen auf den Stößel zum Offnen des Rückschlagventils von der Schlagfeder frei wird, die zuvor an einem gehäusefesten Anschlag Anlage findet. Dann kann auch im Weg des Schlagstückes ein Sperrglied, vorzugsweise in Form eines Schiebers, angeordnet sein, der das Schlagstück vor Auftreffen auf den Stößel auffängt, um ein möglichst wirklichtkeitsnahes Trockenuben zu ermöglichen. Endlich kann eine solche CO2-Waffe mit einem hohenverstellbaren Visier ausgestattet sein, bei dem sich ein schwenkbar gelagerter Visierträger an einem mittels einer Stellschraube quer verstellbaren Keilstück abstützt, das sich wiederum mit seiner Schrägfläche an dem schräg abgeschnittenen Ende des Schenkels einer U-förmig gebogenen Blattfeder abstützt, deren anderer Schenkel auf den Visierträger wirkt und den Visiertrager über das Keilstück an das von dem Schenkel der Blattfeder gebildete Stützteil andrückt.
