1. A squeegee device for the application of liquid, paste, powder or foam substances on to a product web with or without the use of stencils, the squeegee device being arranged to swivel opposite the support for the product web and the squeegee being capable of being pressed against the support, characterised in that the mounting (8, 8', 8") of the squeegee (9, 9', 9") is provided with contrivances (12", 12'", 13, 13', 13", 14, 14', 27) whereby adjustable forces are exerted on the mounting which oppose the forces acting on the squeegee in the operating state.

Eine Rakelvorrichtung zum Auftragen fließfähiger Medien auf eine Warenbahn mit oder ohne Verwendung von Schablonen wird so ausgebildet, daß die Rakelanpreßkraft mit den außeren auf die Rakelvorrichtung einwirkenden Kräften im Gleichgewicht ist und dieses Gleichgewicht auch während des Betriebes beibehält. Dazu sind Anordnungen vorgesehen, durch die eine veränderbare Kraftkomponente gegen die Abstützung in die Rakelvorrichtung eingebracht wird. Durch diese Kraftkomponente wird die Rakelvorrichtung selbsttätig zumindest annähernd in die günstigste Arbeitslage gebracht.
