1. Continuous-casting machine for metal, comprising a bottomless mould (1), means for oscillating and guiding the mould (1) along a casting line (10), and a cooling jacket mounted on a frame (5) in the form of a beam which is parallel to the casting line (10) and which is provided in its upper part with means (40, 55) for bearing on the top part (41) of a foundation block (4), said means for oscillating the mould (1) comprising a lever (3) connected to an oscillation mechanism and rotating about an axle (30) in bearings carried by fixed supports (31), characterised in that the supports (31) of the bearings of the oscillation lever (3) are fastened to a platform (6) provided on the top part (41) of the foundation block (4) substantially at the upper level of the frame (5) of the cooling.

L'invention a pour objet une machine de coulée continue de métal comportant une lingotière sans fond (1), des moyens (3) d'oscillation et de guidage de la lingotière le long d'une ligne de coulée (10) et un corset de refroidissement monté sur un chassis (5) en forme de poutre parallèle à la ligne de coulée (10) et s'appuyant à sa partie supérieure, en-dessous de la lingotière, sur un massif de fondation (4). Selon l'invention le massif de fondation (4) est prolongé vers le haut au moins jusqu'au niveau supérieur du chassis (5) de support du corset et est muni à sa partie supérieure d'une plateforme (6) sur laquelle sont fixés les moyens (3) d'oscillation et de guidage de la lingotière. L'invention s'applique spécialement à la coulée de l'acier.
