Abstract (en)
An ultrasonic vibrator (18) of the type used to atomize liquid used for applying a liquid finish to a moving threadline (12). The liquid is supplied in a metered stream by pump (15) to a through-passage (19) in the tip of the horn of the vibrator in which it is atomized and applied to the threadline which moves through the passage in the tip of the horn (16).
