Abstract (en)

Despite the constant stroke length of the piston, the final compression chamber (206) of the reciprocating piston engine can be varied due to the fact that a lid-shaped modifier (210) which is screwed onto the body (204) of the piston can be adjusted with respect to the body (204) by a stroke screw mechanism driven from outside. The actuating drive is performed via a telescopic shaft (221') having an axially fixed part (228') driven from outside, in which a shaft part (241) fastened to the piston executes a stroke movement. A pinion (220') provided on the end of the telescopic shaft engages in the internal teeth (235) of the modifier (210), in order to rotate it and thus, due to the screw connection (238, 239) with the piston body (204) to raise or lower it with respect to the latter. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Der Endverdichtungsraum (206) der Hubkolbenmaschine ist trotz konstanter Hubgrösse des Kolbens veränderbar, indem ein deckelförmiger, auf den Grundkörper (204) des Kolbens aufgeschraubter Aenderer (210) durch eine von aussen angetriebene Hubschraubmechanik gegenüber dem Grundkörper (204) verstellbar ist. Der Stellantrieb erfolgt über eine Teleskopwelle (221') mit einem von aussen angetriebenen, axial festgelegten Teil (228'), in dem ein an dem Kolben befestigter Wellenteil (241) eine Hubbewegung ausführt. Ein am Ende der Teleskopwelle vorgesehenes Ritzel (220') greift in die Innenverzahnung (235) des Aenderers (210) ein, um ihn zu verdrehen und damit aufgrund der Schraubverbindung (238, 239) mit dem Kolbengrundkörper (204) gegenüber diesem zu heben oder zu senken.
